PROJECT OVERVIEW
At the Arroyo Medical Group, a trusted primary care practice serving California, I was responsible for designing and developing a comprehensive website that communicates their services, patient resources, and specialized programs.
The site required a thoughtful structure, as it had to be built completely from scratch with few design concepts. My main tasks were to create a website that could guide both new and existing patients through essential information—ranging from appointment scheduling and accepted insurance to patient forms and frequently asked questions.
They had instructed me to develop patient-focused pages that provide important information such as insurance policies, appointment instructions, and downloadable forms. These resources were designed to streamline the patient experience and improve accessibility for both new and existing patients.
I also implemented a secure and easy-to-find patient portal link that connects to an external platform, allowing users to log in and view their medical history, appointment details, and provider communications. This integration supports Arroyo’s goal of delivering convenient and connected care.
Throughout the site, special attention was given to simple navigation, a clear visual hierarchy, and the use of their established color palette. The result is a polished, functional website that reflects the group’s values and continues to serve as a reliable, scalable platform for patient engagement.
The final website design was well-received by the entire team, praised for its clean aesthetic, intuitive navigation, and user-friendly structure. The site successfully balances informative content with approachable design, making it easy for patients to find information, access services, and navigate to the external patient portal. Its clear layout and streamlined functionality have helped reinforce the group’s commitment to accessible, compassionate care, while providing a reliable platform that continues to serve both new and returning patients effectively.
