Packaging Design
PROJECT OVERVIEW
I was responsible for the packaging design of three distinct product lines under the Gourmet Basics / Snack Innovations brand: Smart Fries, Pop Rings, and Drizzlicious. Each line required its own unique visual identity to appeal to different market segments, while still maintaining a cohesive look that aligned with the overall brand family.
In addition to these flagship lines, I also worked on a variety of miscellaneous packaging projects for private label products the company was developing for retail partners.




My goal when designing was to balance individuality while maintaining brand unity, ensuring each product stood out on its own while belonging to the broader Gourmet Basics portfolio. Through strategic use of typography, color, and layout systems, I developed packaging that successfully differentiated the product lines.
The success of these packaging designs established a clear visual direction for future releases. The design elements and layout strategies I developed are now being used as a roadmap by their in-house team as they continue to expand the product lineup with new flavors and private label offerings, ensuring visual consistency and brand recognition across all future launches.
