PROJECT OVERVIEW
Slim and Trim Foods is a Jamaican-American brand dedicated to crafting minimally processed, plant-based foods that support a healthy gut microbiome. For this project, I designed the packaging for their crispy vegan crackers, aimed at health-conscious consumers who value clean ingredients and bold, natural flavor. In addition to the packaging, I developed the brand’s logo.
The client emphasized a clean, modern aesthetic with generous white space, placing strong importance on the visibility of the brand logo, a clear health-focused call-to-action, and impactful product photography. They also requested multiple callouts to highlight the product’s health benefits, all within the limited real estate of the packaging. My goal was to balance these elements—maintaining clarity and hierarchy without overwhelming the layout.
Additionally, with two distinct flavors in the product line, I developed a flexible design system that could adapt seamlessly across variations while maintaining a cohesive visual identity.
The clean use of white space allowed key elements—such as the brand logo, health callouts, and product imagery—to stand out with clarity and impact. The result was a polished, eye-catching design that effectively communicated both the brand’s identity and the product’s health-conscious appeal.
